Race of Champions
19. Time permitting, one “fun race” at end of day for overall winners of all adult amateur motos throughout the day; staggered start determined by each rider's best lap time.
?
Skill Levels
Pro (Pro race only), Senior (Intermediate/Expert), Junior (Beginner/Novice)
?
Race Lengths
Owing to long lap times, all races will be 5 laps except the Pro race, which will be 20 minutes +1 lap.
?
Trophies
Will be awarded to the top 3 in each class.
?
Combined Classes/Multiple Gates
Races/classes may be combined or separated depending on the number of entries, i.e. Seniors on first gate/Juniors on second, Four-Strokes on first gate/Two-Strokes on second, etc. Check at sign-up before heading to the starting line. We will try not to run different-vintage machines on the track at the same time, i.e. no short travel mixed with long travel.
At our inaugural 2017 event we ran Vintage, Evolution and Revolution/Modern bikes separately, first divided by displacement and then by rider's age. With two motos per class, that added up to 12 races total. That program ran very smoothly and, barring a huge increase in the number of entries, will likely be repeated for 2018.
?
Specials
If we get enough interest, we will add a class for Specials. Otherwise 100-percent Husqvarna hybrids (i.e. those using parts from different years/models) must race in the class pertaining to the machine's most modern component.
Specials that use either a Husqvarna engine or frame (but not both) will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Why no KTMs?
A few would-be competitors have asked why if the new Husqvarnas are basically identical to KTMs, we're not allowing KTMs to compete in the Husky World Championships. Two reasons: 1. It's a matter of spirit, and an Austrian KTM is in no way related to the Swedish Husqvarnas of yore. And 2. If we let new KTMs race, then we'd probably have to let the old ones race, along with their Penton brethren, and we'd soon run the risk of diluting this All-Husqvarna Race Weekend. Turning it from white to orange, so to speak.
That said, if a late-model KTM owner wants to spend the time and money to transform his bike into its Husqvarna counterpart with white bodywork, Husqvarna graphics, engine covers, etc., we won't stop him. But that's not the same as slapping a couple of “Husky” decals on your orange plastic and calling your KTM a Husqvarna!
